Lauren is a double major in History and Political Science. She has received a number of scholarships, including the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. Her goal is to pursue doctoral studies in American History, with particular focus on the role of women during the American Revolution. She hopes to teach history at the college level. In her free time, aside from continuing her explorations in politics and women's history, Lauren enjoys reading and playing softball.
