A major in Environmental Science, Amanda Rollizo has long been passionate about environmental issues. She has worked as an intern and docent at the New York Aquarium, and expanded her interests in marine mammal and coastal conservation into a presentation at the National Student Summit on Ocean Issues in Washington DC in 2004. Amanda also worked as an intern at the Wildlife Conservation Society at the Bronx Zoo. She hopes to take these experiences and her studies at Marist to an eventual career in a governmental or non-profit environmental agency. Amanda also participates in the Marist College Band, the Student Programming Council, SEED (Students Encouraging Environmental Dedication), and the Campus Ministry.
