Inspired by adults in her high school and community who ensured for her every chance to succeed, Kirsten Escobar is working on a major in Social Work. Her specific interest lies in helping other lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender youth feel empowered in their own lives. Kirsten's other interests include snowboarding, foreign and independent films, skydiving, animal rights and travel.
