One major goal of the Honors Program is to host co-curricular events that bring together talented students in an honors-enriched environment. These events include lectures, field trips, coffee breaks, community service activities, and film screenings.
Rebecca Traister – Fall 2011 Honors Lecture

In this lecture, Traister discussed her first book, Big Girls Don’t Cry, which specifically addresses women in politics and how the media cover them.
