Eligibility
Who is eligible to participate?

Students in the ninth or tenth grade who attend the following schools : Poughkeepsie High School, Newburgh Free Academy, North Junior High
School, South Junior High School. Poughkeepsie Middle school students are recruited for enrollment in the following year as 9th graders.

Students whose family income meets U.S. Department of Education guidelines and/or
-
Students whose parents have not received a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the United States.

Candidates should be interested in entering a post-secondary educational program after completing high school.

Candidates must be willing to make a commitment to remain active with the program through college graduation.

Candidates must have academic potential.
