How did you choose Marist: I came across Marist at a college fair at my high school. I then looked into the fashion program here and visited the campus. I quickly realized this was where I wanted to go.
What do you like best about Marist: I really enjoy most aspects of Marist, but my two favorite aspects are the people and the campus. The campus is simply beautiful, and the changing seasons create great scenery. I also love the people who go here; I have met so many wonderful friends.
Where did you intern: This past summer I did a fashion internship in Manhattan. I interned at B. Robinson Optical. They create optical glasses and sunglasses for Betsey Johnson, Cole Haan, David Yurman, etc. I really enjoyed my time there and got real life experience. I was able to see first hand how things were created and then distributed.
What is Marist like on the weekends: Unlike some other schools, it is not mainly a commuter school and people do remain on campus at night and on the weekends. People go out or just hang out in the dorms; there is never a dull moment.
