treatment of animals), Marist College Community Service
How did you choose Marist: I always knew that I wanted to go away to school, but I did not want to go too far from home. Marist is the perfect distance from my town so that I can still live on my own, but can go home if I want. The first time I visited the school, I fell in love with the campus and it just instantly felt right. I loved the fact that all my classes would not be huge, however Marist is big enough to still have every club and activity that I wanted to do.
What do you like best about Marist: I love the campus of Marist College and the fact that I get to live on my own. The campus is beautiful, especially in the fall, and it's hard not to fall in love with it. I love living on my own and getting to live with all my best friends.
What was your favorite class: My favorite classes are the classes that I take for my major. They are mainly science classes and are extremely challenging, but also interesting to me as well. I find myself truly enjoying the majority of these classes.
Where did you study abroad or intern: I am only a sophomore, but I am interning next semester at a veterinary hospital.
Marist on the weekends: Marist is so much fun on the weekends. Most people do not commute home on the weekends and so there are always people around and something to do. All of my friends usually go out on the weekends, or we will all stay home and just hang out and watch a movie. Either way, the weekends are always a good time at Marist.
