We accepted 31.3% of the nearly 11,500 students who applied for a seat in the entering class of 2016. This year's freshmen include over 1,100 students from all corners of the map. In the Midwest, students enrolled from Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin; on the West Coast from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington; from the North - Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont; from the Mid-Atlantic - Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania; and from the South - Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. We even have students from several countries around the world!
