  • MPA Alumnus Promoted to N.Y. National Guard Major General
    Raymond Shields, MPA '00 of Saratoga Springs has been promoted to New York Army National Guard major general during a ceremony at Division of Military and Naval Affairs Headquarters in Latham.
  • MPA Alumna Appointed First Deputy Superintendent of the New York State Police
    First Deputy Superintendent Groeber graduated in 1984 from the University of Albany with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry. She also holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Rockefeller College/University at Albany, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Marist College.
  • Mental Health Counseling Alumni Return to Campus
    Several alumni from the MA in Mental Health Counseling graduate program recently returned to campus to speak with students in Dr. James Regan's course, "Counseling the Seriously Mentally Ill". 
  • Leadership Development Workshops for MBA, MPA Graduate Students
    Marist's School of Management has recently announced that it will be offering a series of "Graduate Student Experiential Weekends" for MBA and MPA students and alumni at the historic Thayer Hotel, located on the grounds of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

    Marist's Master of Public Administration (MPA) program has been accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). We received this prestigious distinction after a rigorous peer review process and on-site visit this past spring.
