All applicants to Marist College's graduate programs must provide complete application materials by the deadlines below in order to be considered for admission. Applications received after posted deadline dates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

International Applicants

International students should also refer to and follow the requirements provided by the Marist College Admission website. International students are those not currently a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Master of Science - Physician Assistant Studies Three letters of recommendation are required Official score of MCAT or GRE (code 7412 for CASPA)

Applicant should have a minimum of six months, full-time healthcare employment or 500 hours of hands-on patient care experience.


Students will apply via the Central Applications Service for Physician Assistants.  Please visit the School of Science's program website for additional admission requirements.

School Psychology Course Prerequisites: general psychology, statistics, and psychological research methods (recommended, but not required, is a course in psychological testing) demonstrating a minimum grade of 3.0.

To help organize your personal essay (750 words) consider the following questions:
1. Why are you interested in pursuing a degree at Marist College?
2. What are your academic/professional goals and how do you believe Marist can assist in achieving those goals?
3. Provide some personal history/any additional information about you that will help the Admission Committee better make an informed admission decision.

**MA in Comm GRE Waiver:
Your undergraduate degree is in Communication with 3.0+ cumulative GPA AND you fulfill one of the two criteria listed below:

Criterion One:
You have taken a graduate course and received a grade of "B" or better

Criterion Two:
You have three years of experience in Communication or a related field.

**MA in IMC GRE/GMAT Waiver:
Your undergraduate degree is in Communication (Advertising or Public Relations) or Business (Marketing or related fields) with 3.0+ cumulative GPA AND you fulfill one of the two criteria listed below:

Criterion One:
You have taken a graduate course and received a grade of "B" or better.

Criterion Two:
You have three years of experience in either Advertising, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
