All applicants to Marist College's graduate programs must provide complete application materials (noted in Graduate E-catalog) by the deadlines below in order to be considered for admission.

Individuals failing to complete the admission criteria listed for specific graduate programs by the deadline date will be deferred to the following semester for review. Please contact the office of Graduate Admission if you have any questions about the application process.

To help organize your personal essay (750 words) consider the following questions:
1. Why are you interested in pursuing a degree at Marist College?
2. What are your academic/professional goals and how do you believe Marist can assist in achieving those goals?
3. Provide some personal history/any additional information about you that will help the Admission Committee better make an informed admission decision.

**MA in Comm GRE Waiver:
Your undergraduate degree is in Communication with 3.0+ cumulative GPA AND you fulfill one of the two criteria listed below:

Criterion One:
You have taken a graduate course and received a grade of "B" or better

Criterion Two:
You have three years of experience in Communication or a related field.

**MA in IMC GRE/GMAT Waiver:
Your undergraduate degree is in Communication (Advertising or Public Relations) or Business (Marketing or related fields) with 3.0+ cumulative GPA AND you fulfill one of the two criteria listed below:

Criterion One:
You have taken a graduate course and received a grade of "B" or better

Criterion Two:
You have three years of experience in either Advertising, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Sales or or a related field.
