Master's Degree Programs
- MA in Communication
This unique graduate program focuses on the management of communication within and between organizations.
- Master of Arts: Professional Teaching Certification
The Master of Arts Professional Teaching Certification is designed to explore what is known about teaching and learning and to actively practice implementing that knowledge in culturally diverse educational settings.
- MA in Mental Health Counseling
The MA in Mental Health Counseling at Marist can help you become a licensed mental health counselor in New York State by offering all of the academic preparation necessary to sit for the exam.
- MA in School Psychology
Marist's school psychology programs focus on instruction in theory and skills associated with five roles regularly encountered by a school psychologist: facilitator in understanding human behavior; counselor; psychological/educational examiner; consultant and information specialist/intervention strategist.
- Master of Education
Graduates of the M.Ed. program will meet the academic requirements for initial New York teacher certification in Adolescence Education (Grades 7.12) in a specific content area (Biology, Chemistry, English, French, Mathematics, Social Studies or Spanish).
- MBA - Master of Business Administration
Marist's MBA program is accredited by one of higher education's most prestigious and rigorous international accrediting bodies, AACSB International.
- MPA - Master of Public Administration
The objective of the Master of Public Administration program (MPA) is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective public sector and not-for-profit program management.
- eMPA - Executive Master of Public Administration
Designed for senior leaders in public safety and law enforcement, the online eMPA is offered exclusively to members of WIFLE, NCWP, and NOBLE. Please contact Laura Zurowski in the office of Graduate and Adult Enrollment for application information.
- MS in Information Systems
The primary goal of the master's program in Information Systems is to help meet the increasing demand for knowledgeable personnel who possess a balanced combination of technical and managerial skills.
- MS in Software Development
The objective of Marist's graduate program in Software Development is to prepare students for the challenges faced by professionals in the rapidly changing field of computer science.
- MS in Technology Management
A unique collaboration between the School of Management and the School of Computer Science, the Marist MSTM graduate program is designed for professionals with five to ten years of managerial or technical experience.
Certificate Programs
- Advanced Certificate in Executive Leadership
Executive leaders need to be the catalyst for change, build bridges, manage conflict, negotiate change effectively within their organizations, be effectual communicators, possess the ability to influence core constituencies and maintain the ethical business standards of their organizations.
- Advanced Certificate in Finance
The certificate is designed for mid-career or senior level finance professionals with an academic background in management, finance, or accounting and who wish to enhance their financial acumen and their knowledge of current financial management theory.
- Advanced Certificate in Information Systems
The Information Systems Analysis Certificate provides a fast-track certificate to (re)train for entry level programmer/ systems analyst positions and to provide computer competency in critical systems analysis and design skills.
- Advanced Certificate in Marketing
The certificate is designed for mid-career or senior level professionals with an academic background in marketing, business, or management and who wish to enhance their knowledge of marketing concepts.
- Advanced Certificate in Production Management
The certificate is designed for individuals with an academic background in business, engineering, or production management who work in manufacturing settings and wish to enhance their knowledge of current production and quality management theories and practices.
- Advanced Certificate in School Psychology
Our twenty-six Credit Advanced Certificate program complements Marist's MA in Psychology. Similarly, our thirty-nine Credit Advanced Certificate program complements Marist's Master of Arts: Professional Teaching Certification.
