Health & Wellness Activities

Throughout the conference we invite you to participate in early morning health and wellness activities to jump-start your day. The following sessions will take place Wednesday, July 10th, and Thursday, July 11th. Breakfast is available until 8:30 a.m. each morning. The following options are guided activities with the exception of Open Swim.

6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Option 1 – Morning Run* Led by Pete Colaizzo, Head Coach of Marist Division I Men’s Cross Country and   
                    Track & Field teams
                    Two routes will be available featuring the Marist College campus and the
                    Walkway Over the Hudson. Meeting point will be at the Marist Pedestrian Underpass

Option 2 – Open Swim offered at the James J. McCann Center Natatorium, home of the 2013 Women’s
                     MAAC Conference Swim Champions, Marist Men’s Swim Team and Women’s Water Polo Team

Option 3 – Morning Tennis at The East Campus Tennis Pavilion* Led by Tim Smith, Head Coach of Marist
                    Division I Tennis Team, 2013 MAAC Champions
                    Open to the first 20 participants each morning – equipment provided

Option 4 – Sunrise Yoga* Led by Hudson River Yoga in front of Marist Pedestrian Underpass            

This will be an outdoor standing yoga class held in front of Marist College Pedestrian Underpass. No mats/equipment required.

For your convenience, the Fitness Center located at the James J. McCann Center is open at 6:30 a.m. and also available during leisure time.
