Why did you choose Marist College?
First I decided on my major. After I did the research on all the member schools of the USPP program, I found Marist College is the best for me. Marist College has a very good business management program. Marist is also located near the New York City and has a lot of great internships there.
What was your favorite class? Why?
All my business classes are my favorite. I think all professors in the Marist Business School are very kind and funny. They made our business classes very interesting.
What is the best part of living on campus?
For me, it must be the unlimited meal plan. I can go to the dining hall as many times as I want.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place is Midrise, because I live there and it makes my life so much easier. For example, the upstairs is the dining hall and Midrise is in the center of campus which saves me a lot of time walking to class.
How do you connect with friends and family at home while at Marist?
I usually use Voice and Video Chat through QQ online to connect with my family and friends in China. Sometimes they will call me through my cellphone.
What kind(s) of extracurricular activities are you involved in?
For a club, I took part in the Campus Ministry and Asian Alliance. I have joined many different volunteer activities through Campus Ministry. I think all activities those clubs offered are interesting.
Tell us about a “cultural” moment you had at Marist (culture shock, funny story, etc.).
I have not had a “cultural” moment yet.
What do you do for fun outside of Marist?
Periodically, my friends and I would hold a hot-pot party that was really fun. During some of the longer school breaks, I take the train to the New York City for shopping or sometimes I will go travel with my friends.
