Special message from Marist Women's Soccer Coach, Elizabeth Roper.
On Saturday, April 25, 2009, Marist football alumni gathered for a "friendly" game of flag football at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field. Afterward, the alumni and their families attended a reception in the Stadium Hospitality Suite overlooking the field while the Marist team held an intersquad scrimmage. During the reception, alumni learned about the Marist Football Challenge in which an anonymous donor has pledged $400,000 to the Marist Football program with the stipulation that Marist alumni raise an additional $400,000 specifically for Marist football.
