The Campus Campaign is a campus wide initiative where faculty, staff and administrators make a gift to Marist’s annual unrestricted fund more widely known as the Marist Fund. Campus support helps our College build a case for external funding such as grants and even helps to increase Marist’s national ranking among numerous national publications.
The Marist Fund supports a number of initiatives across campus. Below are just a few:
• Scholarships and financial assistance
• The experience of studying in a foreign country
• New programs and student services
• Internships that lead to future career opportunities
• First-class academic facilities providing the most modern teaching innovations
Yes, however, unrestricted giving allows those leading the College to determine the most impactful way to direct your funds as Marist’s area of greatest need can change from year-to-year. With that said, every gift helps! If you do wish to make a restricted gift you are welcome to do so by indicating where you would like your funds to be directed.
We ask you to give because we believe that our College is worth the investment. Every gift, no matter the dollar amount, is important. Your participation is key to the success of our campaign. It will show donors that a large percentage of our faculty and staff are ready to step forward and support our students and programs.
Marist Fund gifts can be made through cash, check, credit card or payroll deduction. With payroll deduction a small amount will be deducted from your paycheck for 24 pay periods based upon the total amount of your gift. You can make a difference at Marist with as little as $2 per pay period.
No. If you choose to make your gift via payroll deduction, you must fill out a new pledge card indicating the gift amount for fiscal year 2013. You can view the payroll deduction options and then print a payroll deduction form here to make a pledge.
