President and Mrs. Dennis Murray hosted a reception for Marist alumni and friends at La Playa Beach and Golf Resort in Naples, Florida on Febrary 26, 2009. Each year, Ernie Arico '76, Florida chapter president, presents a special gift to a member of the Marist community. This year Ernie presented Bob West, vice president for college advancement, with a framed photo of Fenway Park which includes MLB authenticated infield dirt and a 24kt gold overlay medallion. As a Boston native, Bob was very appreciative of this gesture.
