On December 12, Marist alumni from Washington, Maryland, and Virgina gathered at Gordon Biersch Brewery in Washington, DC, for an annual holiday reception. The event included a second annual silent auction to support the Alumni Legacy Scholaship Fund. Auction items were donated by Marist alumni and the companies for whom they work.

On Saturday, June 23 the Washington - Baltimore Chapter also hosted "Cruisin' the Chesapeake." Alumni and their families relaxed as they sailed from the historic waterfront, past the Naval Academy, and cruised into the Chesapeake Bay.
