2009 Hudson Valley Scholars Reception
More than 150 guests, including business leaders from across the Hudson Valley, and student scholars attended Marist's annual Hudson Valley Scholars Reception on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. This reception gave business leaders the opportunity to meet the students who will benefit directly from their contributions to the Hudson Valley Scholars Program.
Student scholar, Amanda LaMela '10 spoke on behalf of all student scholars and thanked the local businesses for investing their time and financial support. She graciously acknowledged their commitment to Marist students and asked the local leaders to continue their generous support each year.
