Michael Flynn was born and raised in Bristol, RI and graduated Marist in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing.
Michael is the director of marketing for MNC Stribbons, Inc., a global manufacturer of
decorative packaging accessories. His service to his community is close to his heart. He has served on the Board of Directors for REHAB Programs in Poughkeepsie for the last 5 years. Currently, Michael serves as Vice President of the Board and chairperson for their Planned Giving committee. In 2005, he served on the Hudson Valley Empire State Games Opening Ceremonies committee. Most recently, Michael was named a "40 Under 40" by the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce in 2008, an honor which he was very humbled to receive.
When he is not volunteering his time in his community, he is with his wife Joann and two beautiful sons, Ryan and Gavin. He and his family reside in Poughkeepsie, NY.

We'd like to thank Richard K. Whalen, DDS, of Dental Design Studio for his past leadership of the Hudson Valley Scholars Program. Rich is stepping down after many years of service and is leaving the leadership of the Hudson Valley Scholars Program in the capable hands of Michael T. Flynn '96, who will be assisted by Robert Ranieri, Jr. '92, Rose and Kiernan, Inc., and Vincent Miller '80, Wm. G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc. We thank Rich for his past leadership and look forward to working with Michael, Rob, and Vinny this year.
