Where does the money go?

All gifts made to the Class of 2008 Senior Class Gift Campaign will go to the Marist Fund, which is the annual campaign that raises unrestricted funds for the College. Annual gifts to the Marist Fund provide current Marist students like us the most critical educational resources and opportunities such as abroad programs, exciting internships, advanced technologies, student activities, scholarships, support services and much more.

Did you participate in a study abroad program? Gain knowledge from a valuable internship opportunity? Use support services on campus? Use the computer labs or library resources? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you benefited from the Marist Fund. Alumni, parents and friends of the college make annual gifts to the Marist Fund so current and future students can receive a top-notch education. Now, it's our turn to say thank you by giving something back.

Increase the value of YOUR degree!

Your participation, at any giving level, is extremely important. Remember that all gifts - no matter how large or small - are important! By making a gift to the Marist Fund as a senior, your gift will be counted into the college's alumni participation rate which affects Marists rankings in publications such as US News and World Report and The Princeton Review. You can support the Marist Fund by making your senior class gift at any level that is comfortable for you. Your gift this year will help to increase the alumni participation rate, which in effect increases the value of your degree! Every single gift really does make a difference!

Supporting the Marist Fund through the 2008 Senior Class Gift Program will keep Marist and the value of your degree strong! For the 4th year in a row, The Princeton Review ranked Marist in its guide, Best 361 Colleges. In the 2007 edition Marist was noted "as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education." One of the determining factors for receiving such a ranking is alumni participation. Your gift will ensure that Marist remains a nationally recognized institution, making your Marist degree even more respected.

Honor someone special with your Senior Class Gift

We hope you will consider making your Senior Class Gift in honor of a friend, family member, roommate, professor or someone special who has helped you make it this far! Once your gift is received you will be mailed an "appreciation card" that you can personally send to the individual that you have chosen. What better way to say "thanks" to someone who has made a difference in your life, than with honoring them by making your Senior Class Gift in their name!
