A sold-out crowd of 80 seniors came to the newly renovated Cornell Boathouse for the last of this year's events sponsored by the Senior Class Gift Committee. The seniors were educated on the origins and different characteristics of muscat, riesling, and port wines. Thanks to everyone who helped make this event another great success!
After receiving so much positive feedback from the 2009 Kickoff event in Tenney Stadium, the Senior Class Gift Committee decided to host another special event in Tenney Stadium's hospitaliy suite. Another 100 seniors spent a sunny spring evening in the hospitality suite being introduced to a variety of different beers. Taking advantage of the event's sports themes, many students dressed in support of their favorite teams. After learning where the beers came from and how they were made, many of the seniors took advantage of the opportunity to relax, reminisce, and count down the days to graduation. Thanks again to everyone who attended for supporting the Senior Classs Gift!
On November 11, 2008, more than 110 seniors gathered for a wine tasting at Tenney Stadium's hospitality suite to kick-off the 2009 Senior Class Gift Campaign. This was a record-breaking show of support from the Class of 2009 - no other senior class gift event has ever had such great attendance! We are well on our way of reaching our goals for this year and breaking all the records set by previous senior class gifts!
