CLS members are encouraged to participate in this program, which provides volunteer classroom assistance at local public schools. Individuals' efforts are tailored around the specific needs of the teachers and students, and include one-on-one assistance, small group activities, and full-class teacher's aide projects.
Schedules and scope can vary with the participants' skills and availability. The project is on-going at several Poughkeepsie elementary schools at this time.
