How the OLC Program Works

OLC course modules are 6 weeks long and meet one evening per week for 4 hours. Cutting-edge instructional technology also enables OLC students to interact with instructors and fellow students via e-mail, computerized "bulletin boards," or online chat rooms. No technical skills beyond familiarity with a basic windows environment are needed. Access to a personal computer with at least a Pentium 166 processor, 32 megabytes of RAM, a 28.8 modem, and access to the World Wide Web are required for this program.

OLC Admissions

Students entering the OLC program must have completed a minimum of 48-72 transferable college credits from accredited institutions. Students desiring admission to the OLC program should:

  • Attend a convenient OLC information session or meet with an OLC program representative
  • Submit a completed application and official transcripts from previously attended colleges
  • Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) Immunization
