Summer Session 2008

Overview

Summer

Whether you're a current student or just visiting for the summer, Marist College offers 3-, 6-, and 12- week on campus courses as well as 10-week online courses in vast areas of study. During your summer at Marist you'll find programs with a focus on financial and marketing management, marriage and family, history of the American presidents, ethics, religious themes in literature, abnormal psychology, and more.

Students often choose Summer Session to:

  • Sample Marist online courses
  • Satisfy intellectual pursuits in areas outside of their usual realm of study
  • Enable themselves to graduate on time, or to accelerate their progress toward a degree
  • Lighten the course load required in other terms
  • Concentrate on some area of study needing full-time attention
  • Take courses they could not get into during other terms
  • Be in smaller classes
  • Overcome academic difficulties/deficiencies
  • Get a "jump start" in a new environment (for transfers)

Whatever reason you may have for attending courses this summer, Marist will get you on the path to a brighter future in a minimal amount of time.
