About the School of Communication and the Arts

The School of Communication and the Arts is the largest undergraduate school at Marist. It includes programs in Art, Communication, Fashion, Film, Television, Games, and Interactive Media, and a minor in Music. Communication majors present original research at national and international conferences, creation original film, television, and Internet content, and build strong communication and media-related materials for many organizations. Fashion students produce a professional fashion show each year and develop portfolios that are often evaluated by industry professionals. Art students work alongside working artists and designers and take advantage to the many learning resources of the Hudson River Valley and New York City. The school provides students with valuable internship opportunities in New York City and the Hudson Valley, and capitalized on its strong relationships with major media companies, fashion businesses, museums, and galleries.
