The Interactive Media Specialization emphasizes the analysis, critique, design and production of interactive communication. Drawing on the School of Communication and the Arts' wide array of expertise in art, communication theory, graphics design, and media production, this concentration prepares students to create content for the interactive and Internet technologies that shape the commerce and culture of the 21st century.

The program provides students with the opportunities to gain practical skills in interactive design and project management, while also taking courses in the theoretical and social assessment of interactive communication and the Internet.
