Jodi spent ten years working in Product Development for Macys. Jodi's responsibilities included the development of various product lines, attending fit sessions, vendor negotiations and trend research.
Jodi currently teaches textiles, product development, private label techniques, adavanced product development as well as the senior capping course.

Jodi is currently the director for the Summer PreCollege Fashion Institute for High School Juniors and Seniors

Traveling, museums, and reading

My teaching pedagogy includes teaching to a variety of modalities; which includes teaching to the visual, auditory and tactile learner. My lectures include the use of power points, videos, current industry news events, hands on displays and i-learn. In all classes the student is required not only to take exams but to follow the curriculum of the class with a semester long project. I find it is valuable to relate all topics to real life experiences.
