Bio: Eric Sheffler is currently serving as a Rudimental Snare Drummer/Percussionist and Operations, Plans and Training Division Chief in the West Point Band. This is Eric's second tour of duty at West Point. He served from 1983 - 1994 and then re-joined the band in January of 2002. While away from West Point, Eric completed his Masters Degree in Percussion Performance at Pittsburg State University. He also taught classes in Percussion Techniques, Applied Percussion, Music Fundamentals, Basic Conducting, Wind Ensemble, and Marching Band. During this time he also served in the 312th Army Reserve Band as Rhythm Section Group Leader and featured percussion soloist. Eric is proud to be a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, Phi Mu Alpha and the Percussive Arts Society.
