We accept undergraduate students of any major. Students should be in their third or fourth year of study and should be motivated to gain experience, meet and work with veterans of the news, entertainment, advertising and public relations fields. Students should also have a mature expectation of independent living in a large city. Students who have successfully completed a course of study at an accredited, two-year college will also be considered for admission. Grade point average is a major consideration for acceptance; a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is strongly recommended.
We do NOT accept graduate students or post-grads who have already earned a bachelor's degree.
NYMEP is offered during Fall & Spring semesters; we do NOT offer a Summer program.

The New York Media Experience is a competitive program. Applicants will be evaluated and accepted on a first-come basis.
