Life in a big city is a challenge. The New York Media Experience Program helps students make the transition with an orientation program that focuses on how to use subways, buses and taxis. A number of field trips will be scheduled so students get a real taste of the significant cultural offerings of New York. Popular broadway shows are always a favorite - there are dozens to choose from! Trips to museums, galleries and landmarks such as the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty are all included. We often take the NBC Experience tour and see the studios where "Saturday Night Live" and "NBC Nightly News" are produced.
