It's all here in New York, media capital of the world.
Your undergraduate internship could be with top TV shows such as MTV's popular TRL, Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," and NBC's "Conan O'Brien Show." Broadcast journalism is another popular choice. Among the sites NYMEP students interned at last year were CBS's "48 Hours," and "The Early Show," and Fox NewsChannel's "Fox & Friends."
Students also intern at leading magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Working Mother, Teen People and CosmoGirl! Sports fans may want to intern with the New York Knicks or the New York Rangers, or with a network operation, such as CBS Sports. Major public relations agencies have included Rubenstein Communication, Inc., and IMG. Film-oriented students have worked with Focus Features and the Tribeca Film Festival. For students who want to enter the competitive and high-profile media world, New York is the place to be. The New York Media Experience Program is the way to make it all happen for you!
We have arranged for safe, affordable housing - right in Manhattan. Our internship program is paired with online courses. That way, you can enroll as a full-time student and earn up to 15 undergraduate college credits in one semester.
