Joint Hudson River and Spuyten Duyvil Undergraduate Mathematics Conference

The Joint Hudson River Valley (XXI) and Spuyten Duyvil (IX) Undergraduate Mathematics Conference will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Marist College. This one-day regional undergraduate mathematics conference will feature 15-minute presentations given by undergraduate students and a keynote address, titled "Mathematical Modeling of Viral Zoonotic Infectious Diseases," given by Dr. Linda J. S. Allen from Texas Tech University.
Funding for the joint HRUMC XXI and SDUMC IX is provided by NSF grant DMS-0846477 through the MAA Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Conference program, www.maa.org/RUMC.
Additional funding has also been provided by the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at Marist College.
Registration, along with a continental breakfast, will begin at 8:30 AM with the conference starting at 9:30 AM. There is no need to register in advance for this conference. However, if you plan on giving a talk, you must submit an abstract by March 10 using the following website - www.skidmore.edu/HRUMC. More details will be provided as the conference date draws near.
