Aaron Smuts of Rhode Island College, "The Good Cause Account of the Meaning of Life"
Description:
Aaron Smuts, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Rhode Island College, discusses "The Good Cause Account of the Meaning of Life."
Much of his current work concerns the nature and importance of well-being and two related kinds of value: meaning and worth. He defends an objective list theory of what makes a life worth living, a purely objectivist theory of meaning, and a mental statist theory of well-being.
