| 5:00 pm | Lowell ThomasThe Marist College Center for Sports Communication will hold the first of its coaches speaker series event known as “Better Know Your Sports Beat.” In this series, Marist coaches speak with Marist students about their sports and teams and discuss journalistic practices for each sport.
The events are ideal for those working in campus media and those aspiring to work in the sports media field. Each of the events will be held in the newly opened Center for Sports Communication in Lowell Thomas 142. The events are open to all students, but seating is limited. |

Drawing inspiration from William Bryant Logan's book Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth, the filmmakers combine lively animations with personal accounts from farmers, scientists, activists and more. |
