About Family Weekend
A Marist tradition, Family Weekend is a fun-filled opportunity for students and their families to meet, mingle and make memories with other members of the Marist community. Every year Marist College presents an exciting schedule with activities appropriate for the whole family.
Highlights of the weekend feature: an evening of musical magic with the Music Department Concert at the McCann Center Arena; the fourth annual Fall Poughkeepsie Regatta and continental breakfast at Longview Park, Riverfront Property; Hudson River boat cruises; excursions off campus; an MCCTA Murder Mystery Dinner (tickets are limited); and a great concert with the incredible Michael Cavanaugh, with special guest Robbie Dupree.
The program concludes on Sunday, and each year families are invited to attend a campus Mass followed by a barbeque on the Riverfront. We hope that you will make Family Weekend part of your family tradition each year that your student attends Marist.
