Climate Change Lecture: Dr. Amy Seidl, University of Vermont
This lecture will consider adaptation in ecological and human systems, examining how ecological and evolutionary concepts of resilience, plasticity, and persistence apply to human cultural as well as biological adaptation to climate change.
Dr. Amy Seidl is a Lecturer in Environmental Studies at the University of Vermont. She is the author of two books on climate change, Early Spring: Waking to a Warming World, and Finding Higher Ground: Adaptation in the Age of Warming. In 2010, Amy received a "Best of the Best" award from the Association of Academic and University Press for Early Spring: Waking to a Warming World.
