The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies presents Daniel Mittag, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Albion College. Professor Mittag has teaching and research interests primarily in epistemology and philosophy of mind and also in philosophy of language. He has published articles on evidentialism and causal and doxastic theories in journals such as the Canadian Journal of Philosophy. He has also presented his research findings at several national conferences such as the American Philosophical Association Easter Division Meeting and the Eastern Pennsylvania Philosophical Association Meeting.

National Hispanic Heritage month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage week under President Johnson, and was expanded to a month by President Reagan and enacted into law in 1988.
Please join the Center of Multicultural Affairs in celebrating on Friday, October 9 with an audio/visual stage performance produced by Will & Company. The performance explores America's social justice issues that have been shaped by the Latino/Hispanic community.
