Dr. Ilan Stavans lecture is titled "On Traveling, Quixote, and the World." He is Lewis-Sebring Professor in Latin American and Latino Culture and Five College-Fortieth Anniversary Professor at Amherst College.
Dr. Stavans' books include "The Hispanic Condition," "On Borrowed Words," "Spanglish," "Dictionary Days," "The Disappearance," "Love and Language," "Resurrecting Hebrew," "Mr. Spic Goes to Washington, and "Gabriel Garcia Marquez: The Early Years."
