2015 Autumn Lecture Series - Dr. Cornel West

McCann Center
Marist College is very pleased to kick off its 2015 Autumn Academic Lecture Series with a lecture by one of this country's most provocative voices on the topic of race, Dr. Cornel West. Author of the bestselling book "Race Matters," West is known as a skilled orator and outspoken advocate for racial justice. A frequent guest on major news networks, he is professor emeritus at Princeton University and professor of philosophy and Christian practice at Union Theological Seminary. With degrees from Harvard and Princeton Universities, he is the author of more than 20 books and holds more than 20 honorary degrees.
