The Marist College community is holding its annual Hunger Awareness Month activities in the month of November.
Buck Hunger takes place on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 10 and 11, all day: On-campus fundraising effort to benefit Bread for the World, Dutchess Outreach, and Lazarus House Ministries.
Hunger Awareness Month focuses attention and action on the problem locally, nationally, and globally, with the aim of raising money to help feed the hungry.

Marist alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends who are United States Veterans or who are on active duty are invited to celebrate Veterans Day at Marist this Friday, November 11. The entire Marist community is welcome to participate in the 11:45am flag raising by ROTC cadets in front of Donnelly Hall and take in the military memorabilia on display in the Murray Student Center.
There is no fee to attend, but please register by the end of the day, Tuesday, Nov. 8, so that we can provide adequate seating at the luncheon.

Veterans, active duty military, and guests are then invited to the Hudson Riverview Rooms in the Student Center for a complimentary luncheon featuring guest speaker and alumna, Mariel Sosa Jaurez '02. The event is sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations.
