Hunger Awareness Month at Marist College - Hunger Meal

The Marist College community is holding its annual Hunger Awareness Month activities in the month of November.

The Hunger Meal will take place on Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Student Center, Cabaret. Tickets will be sold in Donnelly Hall and at the Dining Hall Monday, Nov. 15 – Wednesday Nov. 16.

Hunger Awareness Month focuses attention and action on the problem locally, nationally, and globally, with the aim of raising money to help feed the hungry.

International Education Week, "Share Your Story Event"

Marist is excited to use International Education Week as a platform for a yearly celebration of the benefits from international education and exchange.

International Education Week was conceived as a joint initiative between the U.S. departments of State and Education, and is now celebrated annually in more than 100 countries worldwide. The initiative seeks to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States

Through a partnership of Marist International Programs, Marist Italy, Modern Languages, Career Services, and the Center for Multicultural Affairs,some events will be hosted on campus this week that continue the global engagement and focus of Marist College's students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

"Share Your Story" - Have you ever traveled abroad? Do you have a story to tell? Join your fellow world travelers to swap stories, reminisce, and discuss your experiences over food.
