The Inauguration of David Yellen as President of Marist College

McCann Center
On November 5, 2016 Marist will celebrate the inauguration of David Yellen as its fourth President. He previously served as Dean and Professor of Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law for 11 years. Prior to his position at Loyola, he was a member of the faculty of Hofstra Law School, holding the Max Schmertz Distinguished Professorship and serving as Dean. He was also the Reuschlein Distinguished Visiting Professor at Villanova University School of Law and was a visiting professor at Cornell Law School and New York Law School.

The keynote speaker is Kurt L. Schmoke, President of the University of Baltimore.

Marist Singers Present: Night on Broadway

Nelly Goletti Theatre
The Marist College Singers present Night on Broadway, an annual benefit production for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS the weekend of November 5-6 in the Nelly Goletti Theatre.

The show will feature musical selections performed by the Marist Singers, Chamber Choir, Freshman Women Singers, Sirens, Time Check, along with other solos and duets. Prizes will also be raffled off which were donated by community businesses and local organizations.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is a nationally recognized charity that seeks to raise awareness to combat HIV/AIDS and provide support programs for those afflicted with the illness. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and event raffles will benefit BC/EFA.
