Catherine DeBlase '11 - The Simon Bauer Scholarship Award Lecture

Marist's Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry & Physics presents The Simon Bauer Scholarship Award Lecture on Friday, February 26 in the Fusco Recital Hall. Reception begins at 4:15 p.m in the Grand Foyer with the lecture to follow at 5:00 p.m.

Catherine DeBlase, Class of 2011, is currently in her fifth year of graduate school in the Dichtel Group at Cornell University. She has worked on bringing covalent organic frameworks into a new application space, namely, electrochemical energy storage. She was recently awarded the prestigious Simon Bauer Scholarship Award by the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Cornell to recognize her excellence in teaching, research, and service in the graduate program.

Marist Theatre Program & MCCTA Present "A Chorus Line"

The Marist Theatre Program and Marist College Club of Theatre Arts (MCCTA) present the Tony Award-winning musical, "A Chorus Line," the weekend of Feb. 24 - 28.
Performance dates & times are February 24, 25, 26 & 27 at 8:00 pm., and February 27 & 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Nelly Goletti Theatre. Reservations are recommended for all dates through the box office at 845-575-3133 or email at boxofficemccta@gmail.com.

Centered on seventeen Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line, the production is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theatre during an audition for a musical. The audience is provided a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers.
