James M. Frabutt,Ph.D., Faculty, Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program; Senior Advisor to the Provost of the University of Notre Dame, will deliver the 2016 Hesburgh Lecture titled "Community Safety and Youth Violence Prevention: A Focus on Schools."
The safety of children is a paramount concern for schools and educators. Effective, high quality schools must include efforts to improve school climate and safety. This presentation reviews school violence trends and highlights best practices for safeguarding our children.
In addition to Dr. Frabutt's presentation, Chief Charles Williams of Ulster County will give a brief overview of his work with the Breaking the Cycle Program(BTCP).
