Medieval and Renaissance Studies and the School of Liberal Arts Digital Humanities Working Group present Dr. Laura Morreale, Associate Director of the Center for Medieval Studies at Fordham University.
At Fordham, Dr. Morreale oversees twelve digital projects, many of which have received long-term, multi-year funding grants by the National Endowment for the Humanities. She is an accomplished pre-modern historian, whose interdisciplinary research on Italy and the use and influence of Anglo-Norman French in late medieval Italian, histories and chronicles that bridge the boundaries of history, literature, and linguistics, and has been published in the highest-ranking disciplinary journals such as Speculum and the Journal of Medieval History.
