ESPN Director of Social Media Mike Foss
The Marist College Center for Sports Communication and Center for Social Media will present ESPN Director of Social Media Mike Foss on Thursday, November 30 in conversation with Professor Leander Schaerlaeckens. The event will take place at 4 p.m. in the Admissions Theater, and is free and open to the public.
A graduate of George Mason University in 2010, Foss has already nearly ten years of experience in sports media under his belt. Foss was featured in Forbes’ “30 under 30” while he was an executive for USA Today, where he co-created, launched, and developed social news brand For the Win. Recently, Foss spent time as a Vice President for Fox Sports where he oversaw editorial content development and strategy, and has since been hired at ESPN as the Director of Social Content.
Professor Leander Schaerlaeckens, visiting lecturer and host of The Center for Sports Communication’s School of Sports, will conduct the discussion with Foss, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.
