Lecture: Dr. Wayne Wu, Carnegie Mellon University

HC2023 - Kondysar Presentation
Dr. Wayne Wu, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Associate Director of the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition at Carnegie Mellon University, will discuss introspection and unconscious vision, providing a model of introspection as a mental action and its role in conscious experience related to vision and bodily action. Wu is author of Attention: New Problems of Philosophy, as well as numerous articles in leading philosophy and cognitive science journals.

Wu's talk is titled "Unconscious Vision? Neuropsychology and Inspecting One's Own Mind."

Professor Lenni Benson has been teaching and writing in the field of immigration law since 1994. She founded the Safe Passage Project at New York Law School, is a national and international speaker on immigration topics, and serves on several city, state, and national task forces devoted to expanding resources for immigrants.
