CURSCA, a celebration of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity, is an annual showcase of student scholarly and creative work, and provides a forum for students to share their work with, and be celebrated by, the Marist community. CURSCA 2018 will feature keynote speaker Patrick Mara '97, poster sessions, oral presentations, and other means of expression such as musical and dramatic performances, artwork, and other types of scholarly and creative activity.

Lecture: Kate O'Neill, "Current Challenges in Global Environmental Science and Policy"

Dr. Kate O'Neill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at UC Berkeley. She has authored two books, "Waste Trading Among Rich Nations: Building a New Theory of Environmental Regulation and The Environment and International Relations," and has also published in "The Annual Review of Environmental and Resources, Journal of Environmental Studies and Sciences, International Studies Review" and others.

Research Seminar Series: Dr. Robert Bird

FACULTY ONLY. The School of Management presents Dr. Robert Bird, Professor of Business Law and the Eversource Energy Chair in Business Ethics at the University of Connecticut, as part of their Research Seminar Series (RSS Feeds).

Dr. Bird will talk about how firms can respond to legal volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) in order to capture value and manage risk. Firms can manage legal volatility by developing an agile organization that is able to exploit new regulatory opportunities.
