9/11 Remembrance Events

Rotunda Courtyard
To mark the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and remember those lost that day, the 9/11 cross will be on display all day in the Student Center Rotunda, and prayer cards commemorating the victims will be available. In addition, Masses in memory of the victims will be said at 12:05 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Chapel.

The Fall 2012 Ethics of Food Film Series will kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 11 @ 7PM with a screening of Food Fight.


Come discover the disturbing problems inherent in today's food system with this insightful documentary, which profiles chef Alice Waters's efforts to promote local, organic and sustainable agriculture as a delicious alternative to mass-produced fare.

Diego Val is a Peruvian-born singer-songwriter who performs in both English and Spanish, blending a rough and soulful voice with acoustic guitar. As a teenager, he was the runner-up on Generación R, the Latin American version of American Idol. Since moving to the US he has been performing and gathering a strong following. Diego will be also competing on this fall's season of The Voice!

This action-packed movie offers a dark twist on the fairytale, starring Kristen Stewart as Snow White and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman. The Huntsman is dispatched by the Evil Queen to kill Snow White. However, he ends up becoming Snow White’s protector and helps her in her quest to eliminate the Evil Queen.
