Schedule for Incoming Traditional Undergraduate Freshmen/Transfer Students - Spring 2014 & Fall 2014

To be considered for financial aid from the College, the state or federal government, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed. The form may be completed online at www.fafsa.gov. This form is also available in the high school guidance counselor's office or from the Office of Student Financial Services. Complete this form as soon as possible, beginning January 1st. The preferred deadline for completion is February 15th. The Marist College school code is 002765 and must be listed on the application.

January 27, 2014 Last day to receive Full Tuition for Spring 2014
February 10, 2014 Last day to receive Half Tuition for Spring 2014 (The student is responsible for 50% tuition charges if you withdraw completely or add/drop any courses.)
February 15, 2014 Preferred deadline for completion of 2014-2015 FAFSA
April 1, 2014 Award Letter
  Financial aid award packages will be available electronically via myMarist, provided we have received the FAFSA results from the Federal Government. The student will also be sent an email to access their financial aid award package online.
April 12 - 13, 2014 Open House
  OFFICE OF STUDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES OPEN FROM 10AM - 4PM.
  Student Financial Services staff will be available to assist you with any financial aid matters or concerns you may have.
April 16, 2014 Student Employment Appreciation Day
  Festivities will begin at 11:30am and end at 1:30pm.
  Student Financial Services staff will be available to assist you with any financial aid matters or concerns you may have. Lunch will be served in the Cabaret and activities are outside on the campus green.
May 1, 2014 Verification Process Requirements
  Marist College verifies information submitted on the FAFSA for all deposited freshmen students. If requested, the Marist Application for Financial Aid must be completed and returned to our office.  Please update the FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval tool.  If you are unable to do so, please submit copies of your and your parent's Federal Tax Return Transcripts. The Marist Application is available through Student Financial Services by clicking on the forms link. This information should be sent to our office no later than June 15, 2014.
May 15, 2014 100% Verification Of Student Files Begins
  The myMarist account, will enable you to verify requirements and missing information and complete all necessary documentation.
June 1, 2014 Loan Process Begins
  Your loan will be processed for the amount indicated on your award letter. You will then be required to complete the MPN and Entrance Counseling online via your myMarist account.
July 7, 2014 Fall 2014 Tuition Statements will be mailed this week. *TENTATIVE*

REMINDER: Traditional returning undergraduate students enrolled in eBill With "Other Payers" will not receive a paper bill. They will be sent electronically only! Thank you for supporting Marist's "go green" initiative!
